Birds of the World
From the most exotic avians of the tropical jungles, to the familiar garden birds right here at home, you'll find them all in this amazing collection of bird images drawn from three of the leading references of the Victorian era. This collection brings you hundreds of birds from around the world, including such exotic creatures as the Horned Sun-Gem, the Red-Beaked Ox-Biter, the White-Rumped Babbler, and the Wrinkle-Beaked Tick-Eater. You'll also find more familiar birds under some less familiar names, such as the Crested Blue Jackdaw (more commonly known as the bluejay). The collection also includes 40 gorgeous full-color prints. Let your imagination soar!

Birds of Britain and Beyond
Victorian magazines were more likely to print images of the sort of birds their readers might encounter at home. Hence, this collection brings you the birds that readers were most likely to see: songbirds, water birds, owls, raptors, cage birds such as parrots, even homing pigeons. Magazines often did bring their readers images of more exotic avians, however - hence the "beyond" in this collection, which also includes a fair number of ostriches, condors, and other feathered friends that were not likely to be seen in British or American skies! This collection also brings you 64 full-color prints, including 28 gorgeous fully edited prints from The Illustrated London Almanack.

Animals of the World
Here's a collection that will delight the heart of any animal lover! Drawn from a host of Victorian sources, it brings you an amazing assortment of mammals, reptiles and amphibians from throughout the world. You'll find lions, tigers and bears (lots and lots of tigers and bears), as well as deer, foxes, rabbits, hares - as well as snakes, lizards, frogs, and more. It's the ideal graphic menagerie for your wildest of creative projects!

Reptiles, Amphibians & Aquatic Creatures
This amazing collection of images takes you to the depths of the ocean, and underneath a few rocks as well! The aquatic section brings you fish, corals, shellfish, octopi, crabs, and many other denizens of the deep (as well as freshwater critters). The shell collection, we think, is especially marvelous. The reptile and amphibian sections are hopping with frogs, toads, lizards, snakes, turtles and more.

Bugs, Butterflies, Spiders & Snails
Looking for things that slither, crawl, hop and buzz? Look no farther than this remarkable collection of images of insects, spiders, and other critters. You'll find ants, spiders, bees, beetles, dragonflies, grasshoppers and crickets, caterpillars, and all sorts of flying things. Our jewel in the insectivora crown, however, is our amazing collection of butterflies - nearly 400 butterfly images, including over 100 full-color cards and ephemera, plus 15 full-color, fully edited prints from The Illustrated London Almanack.

Butterfly Prints of the British Isles
This glorious flight of butterflies features all 70 prints from the 1909 edition of J. Egmont Kirby's Butterflies and Moths of the United Kingdom, including the identifying text for each print. These beautiful images are captured from actual vintage photographs - a rare glimpse that brings these fluttering gems of the British Isles to life! The collection brings you literally hundreds of species of butterflies and moths, as well as many images of caterpillars and pupae. This will surely set your creative impulses a-flutter! Catch the cabochon craze with our beautiful collection of "jewelry circles" - ready-to-print sheets of Victorian and Vintage images sized perfectly for cabochons, charms, bottle-caps and more! We currently offer two beautiful butterfly collections, including a collection of butterflies (and a few beetles and bees) from The Illustrated London Almanack prints.

Our clip art collections are scanned at their full, original size at a minimum of 300 dpi, and most images are provided at 600 dpi. This gives you the ability to use them in a host of art, publishing, educational or decorating projects without fear of losing image quality. Also, unlike many clip art sellers, we let you use as many images as you wish, for any sort of project, whether personal or commercial - see our full terms, below. All our collections are affordably priced and available for immediate download.

VictorianVoices.net Image User Agreement

All of our prints and clip art images come from sources in the public domain. That means no one can claim copyright ownership of individual images in these collections. We can't - and we don't. (This also means that you can't either, even if you subsequently alter the images.)

We've seen public domain clip art collections with highly restrictive license agreements, including "rules" that limit the number of images or copies that you can use, how you can use them, etc. We don't do that.

Here's the deal. You may use our images for any sort of project you wish. You may use them for personal or commercial projects. You may use as many images as you wish, and make as many copies of individual images as you need. You may publish images in print or online. You may, for example, use them to create products for sale at craft fairs or on sites like Café Press or Zazzle. If you design a product (e.g., a mug) from one of our images, you can sell as many units of that product as you like.

HERE'S OUR SINGLE RESTRICTION: You may not resell or redistribute any VictorianVoices.net image collection, in whole or in part, as an image collection. You may not re-market our collections in any form now known or likely to become available in the future (including intergalactic data crystals). If, however, you wish to use a small selection of our images as part of your own original clip art/image collection (e.g., you'd like to use some of our Victorian quilt patterns in a larger quilt image collection), please contact us for permission.

Your purchase of any VictorianVoices.net image/clip art collection, either on this site or through our Etsy store or any other venue, constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
