Victorian Cats
Years ago, a book came out titled The Cat Made Me Buy It! Seems that the Victorians - and just about every advertiser since then - discovered that cats were a great way to sell just about anything! In this collection, you'll find dozens of Victorian cats whose kittenish charm was meant to convince you to buy everything from thread to chewing tobacco. The cats didn't have to have anything to do with the product; they just had to be, well, cats. We think you'll be sold on them as well!

Victorian & Vintage Cats
Here are still more cats whose original PURR-pose in life was to convince someone to buy a product or visit a store! Cats abounded in Victorian trade cards, selling everything from fashions to furniture. Fashionistas: the whole fifth row in this collection is from a line of trade cards used to promote the original "Bon Marche" store in Paris! Just as cute and cuddly today as they were over 100 years ago, we think they'll work just as hard to "sell" your jewelry and crafts!

Fancy Cats
Ever wonder what cats are "getting up to" when you're not looking? This collection holds the answers! Here are a host of kitties all dressed up in the latest (or at least the latest Victorian) styles. Here also are kitties getting into all sorts of unusual mischief, from baking the Christmas plum pudding to gossiping over coffee and tea. These "fancy cats" are sure to capture your fancy!

Cats by Arthur Thiele
German artist Arthur Thiele was renowned for his delightful, comical postcards depicting well-dressed cats, dogs and other critters engaged in a host of amusing activities. This collection brings you some of Thiele's best cats, including our favorite "cats with hats," romantic cats, singing cats, and cats enjoying the sports of winter. (Funny, mine won't even step out the door when it's snowing...) These charming images will delight any cat lover on your gift or client list!

Kittens by Arthur Thiele
Here's another collection of charming cats from German artist Arthur Thiele. Taken from postcards of the early 1900's, this collection brings you a clowder of kittens - kittens at play, kittens at school, kittens engaged in all sorts of mischief! It even has a pair of kittens acting as flower girls for a kitty wedding! Best of all, these kittens will never grow up - they'll stay cute and cuddly forever - and be treasured by your customers forever as well!

VictorianVoices.net Image User Agreement

All of our prints and clip art images come from sources in the public domain. That means no one can claim copyright ownership of individual images in these collections. We can't - and we don't. (This also means that you can't either, even if you subsequently alter the images.)

We've seen public domain clip art collections with highly restrictive license agreements, including "rules" that limit the number of images or copies that you can use, how you can use them, etc. We don't do that.

Here's the deal. You may use our images for any sort of project you wish. You may use them for personal or commercial projects. You may use as many images as you wish, and make as many copies of individual images as you need. You may publish images in print or online. You may, for example, use them to create products for sale at craft fairs or on sites like Café Press or Zazzle. If you design a product from one of our images, you can sell as many units of that product as you like.

HERE'S OUR SINGLE RESTRICTION: You may not reproduce any VictorianVoices.net image collection as a whole or in part to resell or redistribute, either in print or electronically, or in any other format now known or likely to become available in the foreseeable future (including intergalactic data crystals). If you wish to use a small selection of images as part of your own, original collection of images (e.g., you'd like to use some of our Victorian quilt patterns in a larger collection of quilt patterns), please contact us for permission.

Your purchase of any VictorianVoices.net image/clip art collection constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
