The Pictorial Museum of Sport & Adventure

Home > About Our Magazines > Miscellaneous Magazines > The Pictorial Museum of Sport & Adventure

The Pictorial Museum of Sport and Adventure is part of a series of "pictorial" volumes on various topics. No date is given in the volume itself, but references generally date it to 1890. The lengthy subtitle says it all: "Being a record of deeds of daring and marvellous escapes, by field and flood; with an account of various countries of the world and their inhabitants: the whole forming a compendium of natural history. Embellished with upwards of One Hundred and Twenty Wood Engravings, and a series of coloured plates."
