The Young Ladies' Journal 1882

Home > About Our Magazines > Miscellaneous Magazines > The Young Ladies' Journal 1882

The Young Ladies' Journal was a weekly magazine published in London. It focused primarily on fashion and needlework, with double-page spreads illustrating each in every issue. It also contained fiction - usually a novel serialized from week to week - and short pieces on cooking and household topics. The publisher also issued The Young Ladies' Journal Complete Guide to the Worktable, which provided instructions on a number of types of needlework, knitting and crochet. A few volumes are available on Archive.org.
