Victorians didn't limit their drawing and painting talents to the creation of sketches and canvases. In fact, Victorians rather liked to paint everything - especially knick-knacks, tiles, china, glass, pottery, vases, etc. Articles offered amazingly complex and elegant designs that could be used to decorate all manner of objects around the house - and that can easily be applied to these or other crafts today!
