                   One and forty years
                       In wedlock we have been;
                   Ten children we have had,
                       But one is to be seen.

            2.  On an Avaricious Man:—

               At rest beneath this churchyard stone
                   Lies stingy Jemmy Wyatt;
               He died one morning just at ten, and
                   Saved a dinner by it.

               The wedding-day appointed was
                   And wedding clothes provided;
               But ere that day did come, alas!
                   He sickened, and he—dided!
